Why is it slightly more expensive?

I make the clock by hands. I get he rough cut outs from plywood.
First I polish the wooden pieces that I can print on them.
I print it by screen printing (several layers on the actual clock + the frame), which is quite time consuming. Every layer means - preparing the frame with the printed graphics, mixing the paint and washing the frame and all the tools after printing - to be able to prepare everything for next layer = colour.
I want everything to be precise and one piece as the other (as opposed to hand-painting) and colours to be suitable for children.
The acrylic PAINTS used meet the EN 71-3 standard for the surface treatment of wooden toys FOR CHILDREN FROM 3 years of age.
That takes couple of days to print all the layers and dries out. Then I glue the clock with the frame with non-toxic glue and polish the edges.
I have to adjust the size of the clock hands and assemble the clock mechanism with the clock.
And of course weeks or even months of designing process, samples, preparing the data for production and screen printing, taking pictures, ect...

All this takes quite some time and with 2 kids when you don´t have any family arround which can help you... even longer )))
